· Lippy Surgery Center is committed to providing safe care to our patients as we begin resuming surgical procedures during this Corona Virus pandemic.
· If you travel out of state, you must self isolate in your home for a minimum of 7 days prior to surgery.
· If you are exhibiting signs & symptoms of an upper respiratory infection and have a temperature greater that 100° F on the day of surgery, please call 330-856-1272 before coming in.
· Upon arrival to the facility, please remain in your car and call 330-856-1272 to sign in. You will receive a call when it is time to enter the facility.
· For your safety and that of our staff, anyone who enters the facility is to please wear a mask or face covering such as a scarf or handkerchief. Our staff and providers will be wearing masks as well.
· We are limiting the number of people we allow in our facility so as to be able to maintain social distancing.
· Adult patients are to enter the building alone unless they require assistance. We are asking your support person to please wait in the car. A cell phone number will be obtained, if available, to keep those waiting updated or when you are ready to be discharged.
· 1 parent/legal guardian is to accompany pediatric patients under the age of 18. Siblings will not be permitted entrance.
· Anyone entering the facility will be screened for Covid-19 by having their temperature taken and oxygen level checked with a finger probe.
· We are following Infection Control guidelines by cleaning and disinfecting the waiting area, bathrooms and patient care areas thoroughly and frequently to keep everyone safe.
· We ask that you take an active part in preventing the spread of this disease by practicing social distancing, not touching your face, and washing hands frequently and thoroughly.
